At Network Family Office Pty Ltd ("Network Family Office"), we recognise that your privacy is very important. However, in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client legislation set out in the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), if you choose not to identify yourself, we may not be able to provide family office services to you.

We collect personal information as required by certain legislative and regulatory requirements to provide family office services and personalised advice.

  • Financial needs, objectives, and lifestyle goals

  • Financial assets, liabilities, income, expenditure, insurance cover, and superannuation information

  • Investment preferences and risk tolerance

  • Health information, as needed for some types of insurance

  • Estate planning information such as Wills, Powers of Attorney (Medical & Financial), Advanced Health Directives and family trust information

 

We generally collect this information directly from you during in person interviews (including video call), over the phone, by email, or through online forms and questionnaires. We may also receive personal information from third parties such as accountants, solicitors, or other referring entities.

USE AND DISCLOSURE
We collect, maintain, and use your personal information to provide the family office services you request, including the preparation of your Strategic Family Plan and Financial Health Check reports and providing family office services. We will not use or disclose your personal information for purposes other than those for which it was provided, unless you have consented, or it is required by law.

 

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers, agents or authorised representatives who assist in providing our family office services

  • Overseas recipients as part of our monitoring or administrative activities, where applicable

 

 

DOCUMENT SECURITY AND STORAGE
Your personal information is maintained securely in either a client file or an electronic database. We take steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We may also store your information in a cloud or other electronic storage systems.

We will provide you with copies of the information, allow you to inspect it, or provide a summary, unless providing access would be unlawful or pose a threat to the privacy of others.
